Just got my new Santa Cruz Chameleon, 27.5 wheels and RC Pike fork. With my reverb stealth dropper post (not included in pics), it is just under 29lbs. I have been so happy with the performance, dimensions, and ride. The whole set up is exactly what I was looking for.
I know there aren't a lot of articles on the new 27.5 Chameleon ( I know b/c I searched), so if your thinking of getting one....DO IT! You won't regret it!

I'm looking into picking up one of these myself. May I ask your height/inseam measurement and what size you went with? I'm 5'9" with a 31" inseam and tend towards a medium sized frame from most manufacturers but I know Santa Cruz tends towards the smaller end of the spectrum.
I am 6"1' and went large, even though I am between large and extra-large according to the SC website spec. Santa Cruz Chameleon
Any bigger would be too big for my type of riding. At 5'9" you should be well fitted on the medium size. You can always go to you local dealer to test ride one - if they have them stocked...
Looking to buy the new 2015 Chameleon but would really like to get a ride down a real trail. Anyone in the Santa Cruz area with a size Large willing to let me have a run down Zane Gray trail in Wilder? Thanks in advance. Hopefully this isn't a double (or triple) post.
That's what i'm hoping for. They just don' list it as an option under their Factory Demo. Only the high end stuff gets any print there. I have an email out to them but i think they are still on holiday.
Thanks a lot for posting the weight. I have been trying to determine what it is. Trying to decide on what my next bike will be. This helps.
