    Need Advice

I'm thinking about a new bike. Probably won't be for a while. I currently ride a Santa Cruz SL 29er. I'm a little over 5' 3". The bike feels to big for me. I have been advised to consider the 27.5.

I've been riding road for almost 30 years and dabbled a bit in MTB mostly back in the 90's.

I'm not sure where I will go as far as how aggressive a rider I will become so I want a bike I can grow up with...lol! I know I will want to do a lot of climbing and longer rides with the possibility of a few local XC races for fun.

I've been researching a lot of different bikes and Im very very overwhelmed.

    Hope this all makes sense.

I like it. I have a giant dealer in my town so I can demo one. It's also in my price range. Thanks!

    Santa Cruz 5010

you cant go wrong with Santa Cruz. theyre always getting really good/great reviews. couple things i really like about them, thread bottom brackets (no creaks to deal with), free pivot bearings for life and they now come with lifetime warranties on the frames

I'm in the 2000k range and I would like to stick with an alloy frame. The 510 is probably to lively for me. I only need about 120mm of travel. It's a beautiful bike to look at for sure!
