    My 2019 Trek Roscoe 8

Over the weekend I purchased a 2019 Trek Roscoe 8. This is my first real MTB and I'm loving it so far. For some strange reason mine came with Maxxis Rekon instead of the stock Rocket Rons. First on my upgrade list is to get some decent pedals and possibly a longer stem. Its been raining here so I wasn't able to ride the trail. Amazing looking bike. Congrats!
But why wouldn't you ride in rainy days? isn't 27.5+ for muddy surfaces and brings a better grip? go and have fun. I'm sure it would destroy the trails

Funny I guess should of mentioned that I rode around the small lake by my house. We have several trails in the DFW area but with all the rain we have had, most of them are closed. It rode good on the street but I think she will shine on the trail.

are you sure you want a longer stem? I'd ride it for a while before committing to that. That stem looks to be 70mm which is pretty long. If it were my bike I'd likely replace that stem too... but with something between 35-50mm.
