Caution; Merge; Workers Ahead! HELP- hub adapters

Im getting a new wheelset with a Chris King ISO Rear Hub, and a Chris King ISO 135mm LD Front Hub and need to convert them to 9mm qr. I emailed a rep at Chris King and he sent me some links to adapters but my wallet is about dry and I was wondering if there are any alternatives (aka, no name brands that do the same thing, just as well)

The link to the hubs adaptors that a rep from Chris King sent me (rear and front respectively) are posted below.

    front

also, with these adapters, will the wheel still be 135mm wide? I want to make sure itll still fit my bike.

also also, Instead of buying the adapters for the front wheel, could I just buy a new axle? They're cheaper than the adapters.

I am pretty new to mountain biking so please dumb down your answers

Adapters don't change the width of hubs, in my experience, but I've never dealt with Chris King so I can't make a guaranty. Still, I'd be willing to say I'm 90% sure.
    I doubt there's a cheaper fix.
Did you know you'd need adaptors when you bought them?

what you bought a Chris King wheelset but cannot afford the adaptors?

That's like saying I just bought a Porsche but cannot afford the fuel!

Are you sure your front hub is 135mm? That sounds fat-bike to me. What width do you need it to be?

Also why are you getting wheels built on the wrong hubs? You've splashed out on expensive hubs however they're the wrong ones?

Sounds more like new to me, otherwise none of it makes sense.

I have a similar problem, I decided to build myself a bike (something I haven't done before), I had bought a frame and wheelset before I realized that there are more numbers than wheel diameter to take into consideration. So now I have a frame with a 135mm dropout and a rear wheel with 142mm thru axle. And it seems every brand has their own propriety hub components. So I am chasing down a 10x135mm qr axle for a Ritchey vantage.

These parts are both for the rear hub that will fit 135mm QR dropout after installing these parts.

The LD front hub cannot be converted to QR. It can fit 15x100 or 20x110mm thru axles.

If you have a 15mm thru axle hub that cannot be converted to 9mm, on eBay, I've found some adaptors that will do the conversation.
