    help 650b conversion?

I have always wanted an IF bike and I found one I want to convert to a 650b. Will the fork work? What about the rear? It does not have disc on rear..will it work? Or do I need a 650 front and 26 rear? help

Impossible to know without more info, and even with more info it may be impossible to know until you take the plunge and guinea pig it yourself. Look through some the 650b conversion threads and the "tire reference" thread for some research materials.
You'll probably have to stay with 26" rear simply for brake compatibility. I don't know of any rim brakes with enough adjustment to account for the 1/2" larger wheel radius.... but that doesn't mean they don't exist.

Paul Moto-lites should have enough reach, a lil spendy. As bacon says it's impossible to know unless you share more info and even then it may come down to throwing the wheel in there to see if it fits. The chain stays are probably long enough, but they could be too narrow to allow a 650b tire larger than 2.0. I have a RM Blizzard and I know the quasi-moto just fits. Try to find someone local to you that would consider letting you try their wheels if you are still unsure after you do some research.
I don't know why,... it's just MUSS easier to pedal than the other ones.
