Fork options for a 69er ? no rasie front.

This site used to have the 69er section, I want to run a fork to work with my 29er front tire on my 26 frame but do not know where to look for a good reasonably priced fork to finish my bike.

I do not want to raise front if possible. I would like the AC measurement to be like 450mm to 480 preferably. I have found 490 but think I can do better.

Any of you guy's who were familiar with the 69er bikes that can help please do, Thanks!

If you are thinking rigid fork there should be some 26er sus corrected forks that would fit a 29er and that may not change the geo too much. If you are thinking a sus fork then no matter what you do the geo will change, the front end will rise (think really slack HA). 69ers were really only around for a couple years and the geo was different than a standard 26er. Have you considered 650b/27.5 for the front?
I don't know why,... it's just MUSS easier to pedal than the other ones.

Yaa I have but I want to be able to roll up steps and the larger tire is better and besides I already bought a pair of 29er wheels with Hope hubs, I am going to run a 27.5 in rear and a 29 in front.

I ride a XXL so it will work just fine. The 490mm Shock is not to bad stock is 480. overall the bike will be like a 1 to 1.5 inches taller in front over stock. I wanted to keep it under a inch.

I would run a rigid fork but somebody told me going up and down steps it would not be near as good as a shock fork?

We all know tall hurts handling.

Howzit, Been ridin' 69ers for the past 6 years and found that zero stack headsets and negative rise stems help lower the front end. Also may try dropping the travel to 80mm.
