i ordered a ican s7 last week, can some one confirm what headsets fit?
their site says it takes "Cane Creek 40.IS41 Short Cover or equivalent" which doesn't make sense since that headset is for straight 1 1/8 headtubes.

Cane Creek ZS44/28.6 / ZS56/40 should be the right part and what I went with.

SKU is BAA0533K on the Cane Creek website.

I had to use the Park Tool headset bearing press to get it in (the tools SKU is HHP-2 on the Parktool website, rented it out from my local university's bike repair centre/workshop). If you don't have the tool or access to a workshop then take it to an LBS to do the work for you.

My girlfriend has been riding hers for about a year pretty aggressively. She loves it. Watch the pivot bolts. They like to back out even when they're loctited. Otherwise, no problems at all.

Do any 650b/27 frameset models have a main pivot built around double row bearings (2 bearings on DS x 2 bearings on NDS)?

So this looks like the same frame as my khs 6700. Must be decent if khs is willing to put their name on it.

Earlier this I was diagnosed with stage 2b lung cancer. Had part of one lung removed, now going through chemo. I currently have an Imust 27.5er (S7) bike. The bike was serviced over the winter, before I was diagnosed. The bike has yet to be ridden this year. I probably won't ride a bike again. The bike was built with an all sram gx 11speed drive train, has Truvativ Holzfeller Stem, handlebars, seatpost. It also has mavic crossride 27.5 15/142x12 rear and 15mm thru axle front wheel. It also has a RockShox Pike RCT3 Solo Air 150 Suspension Bicycle Fork, with a RockShox Monarch Plus RC3 Rear shock 200x57/7.875''x2.25'' MidReb/MidComp B3. Paired with 2 Maxxis Minion DHF Mountain Bike Tire 27.5 x 2.3. It is also pair with a pair of level hydraulic disc brakes 160mm both front and rear. I was wondering how much this bike would be worth if I sold it? I would really hate to sell it, but the medical bills are piling up. any advice would be appreciated

alucke I'm really sorry to hear about your ill health. I hope that all the medical "pain" is worth it and you come out the other end with a clean bill of health.

As for the bike, I think you would be better parting it out. As much as I hate to say it, because it sounds like a great bike, I don't think you will get a "fair" price for it because it is built around a "china" frame, not a brand name. Strip it down and sell everything individually. You'll probably still get a couple hundred bucks for the frame but that will be the big loss. I could be wrong but I think that is the best way to maximise your return.

All the best, and I'll be thinking about you.

Hi alucke, Very sorry to hear about your health, I wish the best outcome for you.

As far as the bike, I think I tend to agree with emu26. Since building mine, I bought an Ibis, the S7 has been tough to sell. You could try for a bit before parting it out.

Perhaps it would be good therapy after treatment, I really don't know what the expectations are.

    Best wishes,

    Joel
