Hello fellow Colorado riders and others...
I have reached the point of saturation with researching tires. Basically just about every 650b tire that is reviewed in mtbr either reportedly sucks or is good at one thing and terrible at the rest, or falls apart and punctures too easily....you get the idea...
Can anyone who rides your typical but sweet hardpack and rocky trails of Colorado give me a tire recommendation that also plays well as tubeless on Stans rims? I'm looking for something in the 2.2 - 2.25 range of width.
The guy building my wheel recommends Kenda, Conti, Maxxis, Schwalbe Pacenti for Stans and 650b. From there I don't know too much else, well except that Nevegals and Pacentis are good.
Maybe all of the tires reviewed are actually pretty good, and only the nit-picky write tire reviews...
