    Not soon enough...
I think we're a few months away, based on the feedback I got from the LBS, and they keep a stock of Pacenti's and Racing Ralphs on the shelf.

I was told all the new 650b tires from Schwalbe would hit late January/early February when I stopped at their Interbike booth. Not soon enough indeed.

When they become available (very likely not before end of year) they will be shown here as ready to order.

Combine this: 2013 Schwalbe Tires – Full 29er, 650B MTB, Enduro Offerings, New Ultremo Road Tubeless, More! - Bike Rumor
with this: Grams Light Bikes - Mountain Bike and Gear Reviews, and News: Schwalbe Nobby Nic 650B Review
that should give you at least a rough picture of what to expect.

STS: There is no 650B 2.25 version of Hans Dampf planned AFAIK, only 2.35.

This picture is taken from my actual tire!

It's mounted on a Flow rim. 60mm width and 356mm tall from the axle center to the edge of the knobs at 2,6bar, although I am planning to ride it at 1,8bar.

In fact, all the new Schwalbe tires are already abailable in R2-Bike a German online store, including the 2.25 Hans Dampf, Rocket Ron, Nobby Nic, etc.

lyn, thanks for the info. That is one hell of a fat tyre. 712mm wheel dia compared with 706mm for the NN and 704mm for the Pacenti 2.3. Some forks might not clear that. What fork are you using?

pheonixsun, is that Ibis HD set to 140 on the back?

Dropped my order and ordered some Nobby Nics ( performance line ) first since they're cheap as chips ( 20€ ? I'm in ! ) and i'm waiting for the Super Gravity Hans Dampfs to be available on November.

I have tested with DT Swiss EXC 150 and XMC 130. In both cases it clears very well.

The 2.35. I got it in the Trailstar compound. The knobs seem quite soft. I like that!

    27,5 Zoll: Schwalbe Reifen Hans Dampf 27,5" | 650B x 2,35 SuperG

If I'm converting this correctly the tires seem reasonably priced compared to what US prices will most likely be. Shipping kills it to the US though @ $45 for 2 tires. To much IMO or I might be really tempted to order 2 NN with Snakeskin.

I ordered 2 NN 2.35 Snakeskin and 1 Hans Dampf 2.35 Snakeskin last week and they are on their way to me. I calculated that even with the international shipping cost, it would still be cheaper than getting them in the US at the discounted retail price my LBS can do (~$75 a tire).

Depending on how many I order I can get the 2.35 650b Hans D including shipping between $45-$65. $45 being an order of 10+ and $65 being just 1 tire.

Me and another guy combined our tire order to split shipping cost from R2-Bike in Germany. The NN was about $10 more and the HD was about $15 more and shipping from Germany to the US was $45 vs. $26.52 from this site. Would have saved a good chunk of change. So much for impulsiveness. Still cheaper than when they become available in the US. These are also below dealer cost for a US dealer BTW.

Is this site linked above any good?? Anyone ordered from them before?

Yep they're legit, ordered a couple things from them before. Really good service !
How long ago did you make your order with R2, have they already shipped your order ? If not, might want to ask if they can cancel the order.

Oh and you can also find them here, Reifen & Schläuche: MTB Faltreifen - BIKE-COMPONENTS.DE
Just search for the tires in question and use the dropbox to choose the correct size, they even sell 2-tire pack that will make them cheaper. They have the best service in Europe.

Already have confirmation and tracking # from them. At least that was quick and I still feel the price is good compared to what they will be in the US when availalbe. The Bike-Dicount price is crazy good though for a Schwalbe tire.

If you buy a set they will be even cheaper on bike-components and the shipping charges cost the same as in Bike-Discount. Not surprising though since they're all close to the factory, i have the same problem with the Pacenti tires as they cost here 2x the price of a Schwalbe, the reason why i don't own a NM.

My LBS here in Oz has a couple 650b HD......also some 650b NN 2.35, which I bought for the front of mg bike.

I'm a little disapointed in the NN as it went 710g on my scales (avg. claimed weight is 685g) compared to the 510g RaRa it replaced and a Kenda Nevegal 2.35 at 730g!

The NN set up tubeless first go out if the box on a Stans Crest with Gorilla tape and Stans sealant via aircompressor.

I will be running the NN on the front for the time being with the RaRa on the back.

I put the NN in the back of my Blur TRc and there would appear to be ample room for dry/moist riding conditions.

    patiently waiting myself....

I bought the HD and NN 2.35's hoping one of the two would fit my Nickel and neither fits,

the HD fits my Fox 32 Talas, but only has about 2-3mm of clearance, which is just too close, especially when it is wet

If anyone is interested in buying some 650 schwalbes... let me know. I also bought some of the NN 2.25's before realizing they do not have the snakeskin protection. They will fit fine, but they will never make it in the kind of terrain ride. Looks like the HD 2.25 will be the ticket. I have had all the components for my Nickel minus the tires since October and just don't want to waste money on tires I know I will not keep on the bike....
