Can you use a 26 wheel set on a 650 frame and fork?

I want to buy a khs sixfifty 300 and I want to know if I can fit and use a 26 wheel set the reason is I ride road and in the forest but I don't want to be changing tires. MY friend has a set of 26er and I don't want to buy the bike and then figure out that they do not fit. so if some one knew and would share his knowledge would appreciated
