    VooDoo Sobo

    I am interested in getting this frame:

    Voodoo Bicycles USA :: Sobo

    but would want to set it up with 650b wheels. Does anybody know if there is enough clearance in the rear triangle??

    Google says: Yes!

    The Sobo is listed here with a limitation of using tires not bigger than 2.1".

    Can you post a link here? I am interested in hearing first hand experiences regarding specific tire sizes, brands etc.

    If you can find one of the older Bakka frames they have gobs of clearance and work well as a 69'r i have a photo of my bike on my profile.. Its pictured with a vredestine 2.4 and still has TONS of room left.. the angles of the frame lend itself to larger wheels.

    I personally confirmed the Sobo. This was in 2008. The 2.3" Neo-Moto rubbed slightly and the Quasi Moto cleared. Be sure your wheel is dished properly. I did not ride the bike, only check the clearance on an unbuilt frame that was ordered through my work place.

    Cool. Thanks for the help. Perhaps I will pass on this frame to get one that has a little more clearance for bigger tires.
