    Updated Bronson C

    small update...
installed a BOS Deville TRC 27.5.

I've ridden it for about 2 months now. Buttery smooth. No discernable stiction at start of travel. Small washboard / high frequency chatter are virtually gone, but no mid-stroke wallow. Feels controlled for middle-sized hits and ramps up nicely as it nears full travel for those big ones. 20mm TA makes a positive difference compared to the 15mm IMHO. It feels like a downhill fork in terms of its smoothness and bottomless feel.

Things to do are...upgrade to XX1 or X01, RF Next SL cranks, and prob ditching the chainguide altogether.

I too have a BOS Deville on my Banshee Spitfire, but the regular 26" one without TRC, because it fits 650B fine. The new ones do only have a new Crown while the Casting is from the 26.

From my personal Experience simply the very best Air-Fork on the Market for some Time. Expensive, but with simple Adjustments and amazing Performance!

Nice fork - I do believe they're the best forks out there. I was so close to getting one but was unsure about my ability to get it serviced where I live. With that said it sounds like BOS is really trying to increase its presence in the US market and it will only be a matter of time before we start seeing more of these.

Do you plan on getting the Kirk shock as well?

I have the DBair CS on my bike and had my first ride with it today. My initial impression is positive and the CS feature is the real deal - much better than the propedal feature found on common shocks. But since you ride a Bronson this is one feature I'm sure you would rarely need to use.

Just throwing it out there but if the amount of adjustments on the DBair scares you think about the Vivid air which is a shock I abolutely loved when I had my Nomad.

    Hi Wilks,

yes, I´m running a 2.25 HansDampf 650B on WTB i23 Frequency and there´s enough Clearance on both Arch and Crown (when full bottom out), see Attachment. A HansDampf 2.35 does fit too, and Schwalbe Tires are generally very voluminous.
As mentined above - From what I have heard the 650B Deville Casting remains the same, as I can see in the Picture of this beautifull Bronson, only the Crown is revised to get more Clearance and a few mm higher A-to-C.

Im running 2.35 HDs. Referring to my last pic, plenty of clearance around the arch.
