UGH!! Coverting rear 27.5's back to 26

Is anyone out there getting sick of finding 650b tires that will fit on your 26" frame? Unfortunately I am so I just ordered 3 26" rims to convert the rears of all 3 of my converted bikes back to 26"
(pictured is 2 of them plus Lamar)

    Bah!!

But the fronts are still going to be 27.5.
I am really interested in the Santa Cruz 27.5 line of bikes, but in 2011
they weren't into 650b, so I enjoyed my bikes for 3 years. Farewell for now 650b.

confused - so many tires out there to choose from - I don't understand how/why you can't find any to work?

Are you saying that you're going to be using 26" rear wheels on your 26" frame?
Each bicycle owned exponentially increases the probability that none is working correctly.

it's because the other two legs are 26" while the ones pictured are 650b

...Maybe a couple years ago. My bike will fit a 2.3 Neo-moto so now I actually have choices. In my case, I would only go to a 27.5 if I wanted more travel or different geometry.

Did you try Continentals? They're usually undersized compared to most brands.

Thanks for the responses. Lamar has all 4 legs and although he doesnt look very friendly, he is! I'm training him to become a 'comfort dog' for pediatric hospitals and rest homes.

Anyways the only tire that will barely fit is the Pacenti Quasi Moto. The yoke gets quite messy with mud and clearance for small rocks. Unfortunately Kona doesnt make the Stinky anymore, it would have been cool to have a 27.5 Stinky as other brands have been starting to switch their long travel bikes to 650b.

I've been eye ballin' the SC Nomad 650b frame, looks like a righteous bike also the Lenz PBJ 650b looks pretty nice.

I hate 26 now, LOL, but the selection of rear tires that will fit with zero problems is very important, especially when taking this bike on a road trip if I ever shred the back tire. I doubt small shops out in Colorado will have a Quasi Moto in stock....I tried 3 other brands--Kenda, Geax and Maxxis and they rub the yoke, the height is the problem not the width.

Pictured is my PBJ. It may be dumb to also own a 650b PBJ

I'm a BIG FAN of the 650b Maxxis Highroller, it only fits on 27.5 frames though
