Are there any soft tail 650B's?

I love riding my Silk-ti. I was wondering is there any 650b soft tails out there?

Dean lists it as an option for their Duke, too:

I bet 650b will fit your Silk ti. My wife has a Fango that I am coverting to 650b.

There are places out there that will weld on disc mounts if you don't have them.

a 650b will fit in the rear??? i used to have a ripley and clearance looks pretty tight at the elastomer preload point.

are you going with the neo or quasi moto in the rear?

yeah, i can't see that working out. A 2.3 26" tire will barely fit in my Fango.

    But, if so, please post.

    Getting the wheels built.....

Curtlo will also make a 650 st. Really well priced for a very experienced builder.

I tried a 650b in the Silk-Ti. It wouldn't fit. I was really hoping it would.

If you don't mind spending the cash, Moots does one as a custom order.

I spoke with Kent Eriksen before IB asking him the same question. He said he would be willing to do a 650B soft-tail.....we didn't talk money because he steered me in another direction. He's a great guy and will even return you call.....I spoke to him for 45 minutes on his dime.

Yeah, I'd be curious to see if my old KHS Comp St would work with 650b.

Kent is a great guy to work with. I've got one of his hardtail 29ers which I sincerely love. One of the things that sold me on choosing Kent was...well...Kent! He's just so damn passionate about bikes that it gets downright contageous. I look forward to getting another Eriksen someday.

What about just keeping the 26" in rear? What would that make it...a 675er?

Most softails call for 80-100mm of travel...650B + 80mm of travel seems within those limits, or?

    Is Castellano currently making Fangos?

i am sure castellano is still building and selling the fangos.

john has potts do the ti version silk ti....also available in 26, 29 and 650b. way $$$$ though.

80mm and a 650b up frontt would probably be pretty nice on the fango.
