    Short wheelbase 140mm FS 27.5?

Here's a puzzler how does Ibis get their Mojo HDR wheelbase so short despite having a longer chainstay and slacker head angle than a Kona Process 134?

I'm spoiled by the short wheelbase on my Nimble 9. So my next bike likely a 27.5 FS in the 140ish range needs to follow suit. I'd prefer the short rear end of a Process but the shorter wheelbase of the HDR. Anyone have a Process yet and can chime in?

Are there other short wheelbase bikes out there in this class?

First thing that comes to mind is a shorter effective top tube and seat tube angle. On the geometry top tube seems a little short. Comparing the XL Nimble 9 to the Mojo HDR it's 25" vs 24.6" for the effective top tube; seat tube angle 75 vs 71.1. Ibis angles the seat further back while having less effective top tube. Effectively being a somewhat smaller front triangle for a 21" frame. This puts the reach of the XL HDR at ~16.46" vs the XL Nimble 9's 17.26".

Thank Khing. Interestingly the tt length on the Mojo HDR 650 is longer than the Process 134... yet despite the slacker front end and longer rear still has a shorter wheelbase...
