    Shimano interested in 650B?

Shimano's Home page http://bike.shimano.com/ has a survey, asking about tire sizes, including 650B! Tell 'em what you think!

Below is what the survey results were as of this morning:

Question of the month: : What tire size will your next mountain bike have?

    26": 40.75%
    29": 43.23%
    650b: 16.02%

The problem with the poll is that you can vote multiple times which makes the results meaningless. 650B wheels had been in a dead heat with 29ers 5-6 weeks ago at around 29% each. I suspect all factions have been "stuffing the ballot box".

I think the fact that 650B wheels are even on Shimano's radar is much more significant than whatever the results of this flawed poll turn out to B.

    Cheers,

    KP

Stats come from the survey. Hey, If the big S gets interested in 650b they have the Mojo to push the industry a long way.
