Also it was a heavy sucker at 710g especially after running a 510g 2.25 RaRa for the last 18mths up front.

Needless to say it's not staying on the bike!

I'm looking forward to a 600g or there abouts 2.25 NN, anyone seen one yet?

Just fitted a front only 650b Schwalbe Hans Dampf. Weight is 838g and the diameter is 705mm fitted to Flow EX wheels and inflated to 26 psi. This is about 10mm bigger than the 26" tyres I was running (Conti 2.4 Rubber Queens). They roll really well, nice grip in corners and are super fast downhill.

They HDs are over 200g lighter than the Rubber Queens, that should make a difference somewhere.

Hmmm. He reported "Just fitted a front only 650b Schwalbe Hans Dampf. Weight is 838g ..."

    According to my measurements...

    Hans Dampf 26x2.35 - Weight: 806 and 784 grams
Rubber Queen 26x2.4 - Weight: 826.8 grams and 829 grams

I was comparing 650b HD vs. 26" RQ. Shame on me for a sloppy research job but Continental reports the weight between 870 and 1110g, the UST being the heaviest one.

    Conti RQ measured:
    2.4 UST - 1132.8 grams and 1129.1 grams
2.2 UST - 801.4 grams and 802.4 grams (not the newest version)

I now have a 650b HD mounted up and ready to go (Fox 34, HD, i23). And I've been on front and rear 26" HDs for the better part of this year. About 1.5 miles in on its maiden voyage today, I shattered my rear derailleur. So no real review or comparisons from me just yet.

It pushed real nice through the woods, though!!!

Is there more room in the 36 Fox forks than the 32s ?

Not sure, the only Fox 32 fork I have is a 6 year old FLOAT, that has a 9mm axle. I would assume that Fox uses the same basic shape for their forks, and the 36 would just have more material? But that's a guess.

    650 HD + Fox 36 (2011 model and up)?

Anyone with a 650 Hans Dampf front tire having clearance issues with a 2011 and later FOX 36 fork?

From reading around there should be 3.5 - 4mm from bottom of fork arch to top of middle tire lug.

Just need to confirm before pulling trigger on the rubber.

Anybody know if a 2.35 NN would fit a 32 RLC 100 Fox Fork? I am probably more likely to run a 2.25 NN but just curious if the 2.35 would ever even be possible. Figuring out the limits to my options. 2.35 HD too much tire and too heavy for me.
