Please help me choose a frame

Hi there...I am looking to build up a single speed 27.5 inch bike. This will be my first single speed 27.5 inch bike. I am coming from a full suspension turner 5 spot, that I rarely ride, and a niner emd 9 - both geared. I am looking for suggestions on a frame that is under 1k. Any help would be appreciated. I should also add that I would like to go with a hardtail. Thanks again!

This is a funny statement. Most everything we buy comes from China. Why are bike frames any different? In fact, most large bike manufacturers use Chinese factories.

The quality is fine. Do a search on this site and see how many people have bought a carbon frame from China.

    My fresh Lynskey 650 build

Just built up this Lynskey Pro 650 with Slider dropouts - perfect for SS -

I am running it as a 1x10 as I have a Lynskey Ridgeline SL set up as singlespeed.

    It rides insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Check Lynskey's website for deals - found this in the Loft section for 1/2 price.

+1. Heck, even my Ibis HD is China made and they charge $2700 for it. At $400, shucks. It's worth it. If light and cheap is what you're after, this is a good way to go. Personally, I don't like carbon or aluminum for hardtails though. It's really stiff and a harsh ride. I'd go ti or steel. Those Lynskey's are pieces of art.
