    My Scott Scale 700rc

    Came to 17.88lbs(without pedals)

Thanks to Tune Cycles,American Classic and Ritchey.

    Frame: Scott 700rc Medium
    Wheels: American Classic
Drivetrain: Sram XX1 crankset, Type 2 Rear Derailleur, XO Cassette,
Cockpit: Ritchey (lighter seat post coming this week)
Tires: Schwalbe Racing Ralph 2.25(Ritchey Shield will be on this week)
    Seat: Token X-Wing full carbon
    Fork: Sid XX

The bike is really really fast. Super responsive. I had a Scott Scale 29rc as my race bike for the last 2 years and my 700rc is much much faster!

Beautiful. This is a SID XX 27.5 fork? It must be a 2014 model year if so?

Thank you!! The bike is awesome. It accelerates and climbs like a 26 and rides over rock gardens drops like a 29er.

The sid is a 2013 , but in black

Those are ashima ai rotors I believe, crazy light.
If your shop sells origin8 items from their distributor they sell those rotors packaged by origin8, FYI, and they are pretty cheap.
Hardrock 29er, Niner EMD9, Cannondale F29, Camber Expert, 650b Nickel all gone.

I almost bought those rotors, but my buddy who had them told me they don't bite very well. I will sacrifice a few grams for more stopping power.

Why do you know or believe this bike is faster than your 29? I'm looking at one or the other for my hardtail xc race bike

Wow! Velonews reported that Scott is only making 30 of those frames. Must've been crazy just to get one.

The Scott team had one at the Whiskey Off Road that I got to check out. Nice looking frame - clean lines, subtle graphics, and crazy light.
