I'm located in the panhandle of Nebraska. Our thorn/goathead/puncture vine problem out here is very very bad. Last year was dry and they thrive in those conditions. I'm building up a Yipsan 650b for a gravel racer. So I'm looking for something with a very low rolling resistance and the toughest over all tire I can get. I'm running tubes, as the wheels I have aren't rated for tubeless. I use slime sealant and am going to give stans a try also. Weight isn't a huge deal. I'd put thorn resistance ahead of weight. I took a test ride last night around the block and had 5-6 thorns in each tire. Rear went flat and the frt sealed. I've got a good combination for 26" tires. Was just hoping to pick the minds of other 650b owners.
