    Maxxis Crossmarks and Mojos

Cross post in the Ibis forum...

Has anybody tried a 650b/2.1 Crossmark on the rear of their Mojo C / SL ? Got enough clearance? How does it compare to the standby Nevegal / Neo Motos?

It's time for new tires, and WOW!!!!! There are a lot more choices available than there were just a couple months ago.

A dude I ride with has them on his mojo classic. They fit fine. I rolled the 29er version for a while and they roll pretty fast.

My brother has been on crossmarks on his pivot Mach 4 for almost 2 years and its his favorite trail tire, his is 26" but same tread. He was coming from a gripper treaded tire, I think Nevegals actually, and it took a little transition not being able to go through stuff with as much wreckless abandon as on the other tires but the few turns you have to go in a little slower are made up by the rest of the ride.
Hardrock 29er, Niner EMD9, Cannondale F29, Camber Expert, 650b Nickel all gone.
    2014 Giant Anthem 27.5 here.
