The x-fusion velvet is an awesome fork and pretty light. I think the tapered 15mm axle version with a cut steerer is about 3.8lbs. You probably have to find something more exotic with a carbon steerer and crown to reach the weight you want. I am pretty sure cannondale made a 140mm 26er lefty fork that I would assume is pretty damn light, you could probably add a travel reducer like you can with the other leftys and run it at 130mm if you have clearance for a 27.5 wheel.

Yep, I have the velvet tapered with 15mm now and with the steer tube trimmed its just under 4#. I guess I should be happy with what I have, if someone knows of anything at 3.5# or less I'll give you 10,000 internet rep points lol.

    lightweight 130mm fork suggestions

my 2013 Velvet qr15 w/ cut 1 1/8 steerer and no star nut was 50g heavier than my Revelation with 20mm Maxle, longer steerer w star nut, and xloc remote. I was really surprised to see that. I don't recall the exact weight now, but the Velvet was definitely closer to 4 lb than to 3.5.
Oh yeah, the rev is also 150mm vs 140 for the Xfusion, but the rev is a 26" fork and won't take the big 650b rubber of the Velvet.
Point is, I don't think you're going to get there with currently available forks, and will probably take a noodly open dropout 32 platform to get close.
