What year b2? If it is a 2010 then I would pass, too many cracked frames. I have a 2011 b2 and it is a great bike.

I broke a 2012 650B frame at the down tube. Jamis did send a new frame. I bought a Scott Genius because I felt it was more durable.

The only difference is the rear shock & components. The frame & rear triangle are the same.

Here's a pic of my 2010 B1. Jamis took care of it but I was the original owner and it was still under warranty.

The Cannondale you mentioned is a better bike for the money, just my opinion.
Hardrock 29er, Niner EMD9, Cannondale F29, Camber Expert, 650b Nickel all gone.
    2014 Giant Anthem 27.5 here.

My post was in response to krs185. He asked about the difference between the B1 and B2 models in 2010.

I should've quoted his post. Sorry for the confusion
