    GT Zaskar Pro Carbon HT + 650B = it works

    ....just barely with quasi motos..only ~5mm from knob to seatstay bridge. plenty of clearance with the chainstay bridge and lefty

    That is one fast looking bike; great job!

    I have been itching to try this with some of GT's FS bikes too.

    That's how much clearance I have with my Mamasita (Python 2.1/28mm rim) and that bike was designed for wheel the that's in it.

    ...2 years later, Google leads me to your post - this is exactly what I am considering doing to my Zaskar (same model as yours).
    It's great to know it's technically possible. The big question - what has it done to the ride? How is the attitude of the Zaskar now - is it still the thoroughbred lightweight racer that it was born to be?
    I'd love to hear your thoughts on the adjustment.
