Don't know if this is news or not, but Lynskey has introduced a new 650B frame

Lynskey now has a less expensive line called the Silver Series that includes a 650B.

    Interesting!
Which are the differences to be cheaper?
Design, tubes, weight, ... I'm going to investigate a little bit.
    Thanks!

Says $1099 for the frame and $2499 for the complete bike.

As I posted in the 29er thread on the new silver series I was interested in this bike. But I wonder if it would be stiff enough for a heavier rider like myself. I tend to be hard on the crank/bb also.

I would appreciate any feedback by anyone who has ridden Lynskey MT650 (Silver Series) or even its 29er counter part. My google-fu isn't good enough to find a "review" on Silver Series.

I was thinking about whether to wait for bikesdirect to come out with 650B Ti hardtail, but I read on Motobecane Forum that it'll be 2014. Even that's just a buzz.

I'm not overly interested in the name brand, but I like that Lynskey has a good reputation and people seem to be happy with their product. Its XT build actually comes with XT crankset and XT brakes. The price seems competitive and reasonable given the market rate.

I was ready to pull the trigger last night, but will wait couple of more days to mull it over. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
