    Too bad

I can't get that mag. anymore. I used to get it at the local bookstore, then at the big box bookstore...but no one carries it anymore. I e-mailed the mag to find out about the exchange rates and subscription, but, did not get a reply. It was one of my favorite bike mags. Stayed in the basket next to the Loo' longer than any other.

I looked into getting it in the mail here too. IIRC, it was over $100 for a year. Great, great magazine, but not at that price.

    Carver is good

I just built up my Carver Killer B and rode it for the first time last weekend. It is a really sweet ride! I miss the "roll over everything" nature of my 29er, but the 650B definitely accelerates faster and turns better. For a "cheap" Ti frame, the Carver sure delivers. Weld quality is good and for a non-butted frame it sure is light. My build is right at 23 1/2 and I can lose a half pound for race day easily by changing to Quasis and my race cassette.
