    Burly tire?

Is there such a thing available to buy, right now, in 650b?

Tread pattern is far less important than casing durability. I have several customers looking to ride bike parks, not very smoothly, and a single ply tire isn't going to cut it.

    Any info appreciated.

IMO, the burliest 650b tire is the Vee Rubber Trail Taker 2.4".

Hans Damph with Snakeskin sidewalls? I don't know if there are any 2 ply 27.5 tires yet.

X2 on the HD Super Gravity, these tires are tough, have a pair on my 26" DH bike and sidewalls are ridiculous. Just don't try and mount these to a carbon rim, I had to use 2 motorcycle style steel tire levers to get these on my Mavic 823 rims and once on the only way they're coming off is to cut them off, carbon rim could not take the lever force required to mount.
