    Info source?

Since Bontrager/Trek isn't gonna make a tire unless they have something to put it on I guess we'll see a 650B Trek something in 2014. Fuel EX and Remedy are obvious choices IMHO.

I would not be surprised. They have been testing the wheel size for 3-4 years now...

if it looks same, I will stick with neo-moto for sure. (if the price difference is not too big of course. )

I hope the XR3 will have bigger knobs for more aggressive riding. something like maxxis Minion DHF.

    Generally, the Bonty line goes like this: XR0 = semi-slick 1.9, XR1 = low-profile, mini-block 2.1, XR2 = all-round XC tread, etc.
    Sorry to dash your hopes

Yaaaay another XC tire ... don't get me wrong, ANY new tire is good news but i just don't understand why most tire manufacturers are releasing mostly XC tires when frame and suspension manufacturers are doing mostly mid/big travel trail/AM bikes.

I believe the XR4 is more of a Trail/All Mountain tire...
I hear you RE: wanting something burlier than what is available.

Right now the Hans Dampf is the one I am most anxious to see, of the tires that have been officially announced.

Surely the XR4 is a nice step on the right direction and is a good trail tire ( like the Neo-Moto ), my beef is the disparity on the releases between tire manufacturers and frame/suspension makers.

    Pardon my rambling ..
