"b9er" 29/27.5 mixed wheel format frame getting closer to complete build!

Hi, this is my mixed wheel format frame I have had for a bit, finally starting to get parts put on.

It is 29" front and 650B rear, BB30 BB, 1.5" headtube.

The frame builder is Russ Denny

Its funny when I posted this a couple of years back someone commented,

"Are you sure you will be able to get 650/27.5 tires in the future?"

Now for 2013 its the new thing!

I have a Trek 69er HT set-up the same way...wish I had a little more tire clearance, but otherwise it has been a sweet set-up. Definitely more balanced than w/ a 26" rear.

    Thank you!

I don't think people really understand what a custom built
frame is and its departure from the big bicycle companies generic offerings, but that's okay.

When I finish my builds people that don't even ride bikes give positive comments.

BTW, the front fork will be a 120mm, the rigid is just for cheap sizing!

    Will post when complete

Is that a dedicated B9er frame?

Currently I run a FS B9er on a previously dedicated 29er frame. Love it.

    Nice looking frame.
