Anyone have a Scalpel conversion with 2.1 Rocket ron on the rear?

I desperately what to convert my 2012 scalpel to 650b but I live in the uk and we're getting to the time of year where heavy mud is impossible to avoid and the rear clearance worries me.

Any pics or experiences running this setup or alternate tyre which will give clearance for mud would be good to hear.

    Thanks.

Well for anyone else that may wonder in the future I found this thread: Scalpel Carbon1 2012 [650b] by Steve78 - 8485g

Seems that a RoRo 2.1 offers loads of space and no issues even in extreme mud.

I will be doing tests and comparisons over the winter with a few additional rear tires

So far I have rocket ron, kend small block 8 and quasimoto. There are a few others that I want to try out aswell, I'll post back with my findings.

Cool thanks man, have you had any trouble with stuff getting caught up in the gap with your RoRo?

Took them for a 3 hour spin and the difference from the first stroke of the pedals was immense! Probably the best upgrade I've ever gotten :beerchug:
I was worried about the rocket ron, but I reversed the rolling direction of the tire halfway into my trip and it got alot grippier. Wet roots was still close to suicide, but strangely fun..

I came home with the rims today so it was my first ride, during my ride nothing got caught. Anything big enough to get slung up there would be an issue regardless of rimsize I believe.
