For all those wanting a small travel 650B the Alpino has arrived!!

If I wasn't fully in love with my El Bastardo I'd be ordering one of these right now. Here it is finally on the website. Hand welded in the USA as well. Enjoy!!!

I don't think Ventana ever puts up frame weight.

I might get the weight later from Chad at Red Barn, at least for a Large size.

You're right, I wanted something with around the lines of 100mm of rear travel that's more efficient to pedal.

This is what industry is calling a "trail" bike, and it is hardly "short travel" by today's standards. If you compare it to 160mm travel bikes, yes it's "shorter" but it is by no means "short".

It's a good in between, that will handle more than what riders will ever throw at it. And in that regard, I bet it's a fantastic frame.

Now excuse me while I save up for my carbon hardtail...

I picked up my 21" Alpino this morning at Ventana HQ....what a great way to start out the day.....got there at 0710 hrs and the factory was buzzing. My frame weighs 7.1 lbs with 142x12 drop outs less axle & nut and with seat clamp. I imagine it building up between 25-27 lbs which is good for me.
