    650B Replacement for SJ-FSR

I was hooked at a recent test ride on a StumpJumper FSR Elite 29".
I'd like to consider a 650B wheel bike too.
I want a all mountain monster that can sail over single track climb decent and go down hill with extra confidence.
3-4 foot drops not common but occasional.
The down hill here in SA is not well maintained so I need a bike that can roll over and be nimble too.
I am 5-10 and 165lbs and ride a med frame size.
How can I know if I need 200mm or 150mm of travel?
My HT has 120mm front shock and is definitely obviously not enough.

Sight or Range from Norco. Probably your best bet. Also, Tracer275 or Carbine275 from Intense.

At 5'10'", you would certainly be a medium in those bikes. I ride a 275 stump fsr and would switch to any of these bikes if the tower clears an expenditure, which she signaled was imminent...

I'll send good thoughts your way if you send 'em my way!

I would stick to 150-160 in travel. You can pedal that up hill all day but really bomb down hills. I think the Tracer275 has the slackest head angle with a 160 fork. Pike would be best, Revelation would be right there behind it.

Let us know what you do!

    650B Replacement for SJ-FSR

Yes, the Norco models are definitely on my radar.
I will have to find a local dealer to go in and check one out.
