Nice pickup, it'll pay priceless trail rides. Even if the trail is the road to the local coffeeshop. You should post your Shiny here too!

I'm considering doing the same thing with my wolf ridge with Lyrik fork. Any issues with the rear end? How's clearance fully compressed?

    Thanks

Bikes are typically weighed without pedals. Why? Because very few high end bikes come with pedals, because people typically have their own pedal preferences. Since there are no pedals, there are no pedals to weigh with the bike. I guess those that have never owned a high end bike might not get this because their bikes have always come with pedals. People on these forums weigh their custom bikes without pedals so that it is possible to reference their bikes weight to the weight of manufacturer's bikes. Or in this case because he uses two different types of pedals.

Mudfoot- I LOVE that color on the Butcher. Great looking bike, you'll love it.

Here's my recently built Blur LT. I've taken her out on 3-4 rides so far, and I'm a huge fan. It's the perfect mix of 26" & 29" for the type of riding I do here in CO. Once in a while I wish I had the downhill performance of my old NomadC, but the Blur is a more fun bike all around. (I typically have to climb 1500-2000 feet in order to get the downhill) I don't know the exact weight, but I'm guessing it's around 28 lbs. I like the WTB Wolverine on the rear wheel, but I eventually want to get a wider front tire.

Thanks. Yours looks good as well. Mine weighs 31.25lbs with the pedals. Im coming from a bike that was a little over 40lbs. So this thing feels lite to me.
