The onslaught of product is finally forcing them to really acknowledge 650b.

3 650b's in the latest issue of Singletrack as well. Cube Stereo was very well received.

Were they all FS? I'm looking at hardtails and I really want to demo before I spend.

One titanium hardtail from a company in Colorado in BIKE. The other three were FS--Norco, Rocky Mnt, and Scott.

    I like 650b-ike.

If you're old like me, you might get this.

SteveF, are the trails ready in MI yet?

Heh, just trying to cut out any redundant "b's."

The trails were getting pretty good last weekend, but it's raining every day this week-up to 3" total in some areas by friday, so they will probably be too wet this weekend. We really need the rain, tho, and I think this will be good for the trails. It's warming up-not getting below freezing at night, so the ground's thawed all the way down and it's going to soak up this rain like I do a beer after the triple trail challenge...

If you want Bike Mag's opinion of 650b, it comes out here:

It certainly does...or at least, Seb Kemp's opinion of 650b. Whatever, Seb. For my size (5'9") and riding style (cross-country/trail), I find 650b to truly be that happy medium wheel size. Yeah, wheel size is just one component of the whole bike, but...it's a very important component! Along with frame geometry, I'd argue that no other component of a bike affects the ride feel as much as wheel size.

The latest Dirt Rag also reviews 3 FS 650b-ikes. A Scott, plus the Norco Range and Sight. There seems to be a general consensus in the press that the Sight is one of the best all-rounders out there. I haven't ridden one myself.

The Sight was definitely the one that grabbed me by the pupu the first time I saw it.... haven't ridden one, but all the numbers and spec just seem dead on. And as a bonus it looks sweet too.
