    650 Mud tyres

Got some high roller 2s winging their way to me but as the season has started to turn Im after a mud tyre for the rear of my bike. Ride mostly natural trails so can get pretty muddy and dont drain well. Was gonna automatically go for a Bonty Mud X but they dont exist in 650 format so Im looking for some other options?

maxxis beavers should be available now or shortly...you may have to do some searching or order from Europe.

Had a look at those but they don't seem to be tubeless which I also need them to be

FWIW, Maxxis std. tires typically convert to tubeless rather easily.

looks like Beaver, uk only and 2.0, HR2 and schwalbe nobby nic. Personally if you are getting along ok with the HR2 in the mud it might be hard to switch to the Beaver, depends if you are xc racing and need the faster lighter. The Nobby Nic offers up more size options and maybe a better in between beaver and HR2.

I'm having no problems with sealant in a "non-tubeless" HR2 and that includes sealing up a good hole I put in the tread part of the casing.

I've been riding the Vee Ruber Trail Takers in 2.4 all fall and they have served well through the AK mud.

I have not taken the Vee Rubber Fluid to mud yet but I suspect it will do just fine there.

Also, I believe the Schwalbe Dirt Dan may be available, or soon available in 650b.

The Mavic Charge is my favorite atm, sticky rubber, open profile, but quite soft.
    29" only
