    27.5 travel bike/luggage/wheels... ?

    Anyone stick a 27.5 wheeled machine in a travel case (suitcase size) yet?

    Wondering if the tires have to be removed (like a 29'er) or if you just need to let more air out (than a 26").

    My travel bike is a 650b and it fits in my case with the tires still on it. I do let air out of the tires (38mm para-motos) but they can remain on the rim. I went with the 650b size to make packing easier - getting my old 700c CX bike into the case was tough. The 650b is easier (although I'm not say "easy").
    Each bicycle owned exponentially increases the probability that none is working correctly.
